Sportech to Showcase New Innovation in Digital Wagering Products at Tucson, Arizona
ATLANTA, GA – Sportech Racing and Digital, a division of Sportech PLC, (LSE: SPO), will unveil a slate of innovative new digital products and services to the global racing industry at the 40th Annual Global Symposium on Racing & Gaming, in Tucson, next week.
Sportech Racing and Digital is the newly established division to incorporate Sportech Racing, Sportech Interactive Products and Services and eBet Technologies, in order to offer a seamless and converging delivery of terrestrial, online and mobile wagering technology products to our customers.
During the four-day Global Symposium on Racing & Gaming, Sportech Racing and Digital will introduce a suite of new mobile, online and digital products designed to significantly improve the racing fan wagering experience and make it easy and fun to wager on mobile, online and on track.
Headlining the innovative developments is the new Digital Link™ suite of mobile applications. Digital Link™ – which has already been approved for inclusion in the Apple App Store℠ – works in conjunction with on-track wagering devices and the racing consumer’s own smart phone to deliver an array of wagering and account management services, including on-track mobile wagering, off-track mobile wagering, and Sportech's proprietary (patent pending) digital voucher, which provides a convenient paperless alternative to vouchers and betting tickets.
The company will also feature a pioneering white-label wagering website – G4 – a framework for online horseracing wagering that provides consumers with a central dashboard from which to access all information needed in order to wager, manage accounts, and watch racing video, all with a minimal amount of navigation. Importantly, G4 has been developed to be ‘iGaming ready’ in order to to integrate horserace wagering with a full suite of other online gaming products including bingo, casino, poker, slots and other games. To provide this market leading products and customer experience as the US online gaming regulation evolves, Sportech has established a new joint venture partnership for the US market with Nevada located NYX Gaming Group.
Finally Sportech has developed a new kiosk engineered to allow licensed operators to offer wagering account set-up, funding, and cash-out from a single-kiosk unit.
