Horsemen’s Park and Lincoln Race Course to Receive New Technologies for Wagering

November 14, 2014, Atlanta, GA – Sportech Racing and Digital, a division of Sportech PLC, (LSE: SPO), announced today that it will deliver Sportech’s latest land-based and digital betting technologies to the patrons of Nebraska’s Horsemen’s Park and Lincoln Race Course, both operated by Omaha Exposition and Racing, Inc., under a new customer agreement.

Horsemen’s Park and Lincoln Race Course selected Sportech as their new tote provider to deliver pari-mutuel betting services with Sportech’s Quantum System software, Quantum Data Center services, and BetJet series wagering devices.  In addition, Horsemen’s Park and Lincoln Race Course patrons will have access to the new Digital Link™ mobile suite, with patented digital voucher functionality.  Digital Link™ delivers exceptional customer service and convenience, while the digital voucher helps reduce the use of ticket paper, thereby lowering the environmental impact of the betting operation. Rounding out the digital offerings at the Nebraska facilities will be the new Sportech Tablet for dedicated self-service account wagering.

Omaha Exposition and Racing Vice President of Racing, Gregory Hosch, said: "We were impressed by the overall quality of Sportech’s tote system, data centers, and digital wagering technologies and we are looking forward to offering our players a significant upgrade in their wagering experience, with mobile and tablet wagering that will make visiting Horsemen’s Park and Lincoln Race Course even more enjoyable.”

Andrew Gaughan, President of Sportech Racing and Digital, added: “We are very pleased to have been selected as the new tote provider to Horsemen’s Park and Lincoln Race Course and are satisfied that these new customers recognized the benefit of enhancing the consumer experience with digital technologies that are closely coupled with the on track betting experience.  We look forward to a very long and productive technology and service partnership with our new customers in Nebraska.”
